The women at this Nest love fresh Strawberry Rhubarb Pie! We love it so much I planted 3 huge rhubarb plants in the backyard and we anxiously wait every spring for them to get large enough to cut so that I can make one of these amazing pies! Nothing say’s Country dessert like fresh, straight from the oven, strawberry rhubarb pie! This year it took a little longer for the rhubarb to get where it needed to be but…it was SO worth the wait!

Here it is…The last holiday cookie for 2016! As they say, “I saved the best for last!”. I truly did. It’s no great secret I’m a lover of all things cheesecake! These Cheesecake Cookies, with snicker pieces hiding in the cheesecake filling, are the ultimate holiday cookie! I hope you love them as much as I do! In my family growing up, strawberry shortcake was not a dessert! Say What?! You read that right! Grandpa Howard insisted that strawberry shortcake was, in fact, the main course! (There’s a man after my own heart!) So, if you happened to come on a night strawberry shortcake was being served, you best not be looking for chicken and potatoes, because there was none to be had!
