Hi Margie!
Nice job being a mean spirited troll! If you’ll notice in the recipe I do mention that the “original recipe calls for” so I do not take credit for this recipe being an original! In fact I give credit to the original cookbook I found the recipe from, which was a church cookbook found at a local thrift shop. I do however appreciate you supplying us with the origins of this recipe.

Hi Barbara!
Let me answer the questions in the order you’ve asked them. The Yeast I use is just regular Active Dry Yeast. Not Rapid Rise. The Flour I use in a recipe is ALWAYS All-Purpose unless otherwise stipulated. Sorry that was not clarified in the recipe. The water is just tap water on warm. Hope this helps you out. This is one of my very favorite Cinnamon Roll recipe! Enjoy!

I want to try to make these rolls, b/c I can’t find them here in N. C.
Please help me to know: is the Yeast Rapid Rise. Is the Flour All-Purpose or Self Rising. Is the Hot Water microwave hot or just faucet warm. Want to be able to have the best rolls possible. Thanks !!!

Hi Gabi!
I use Active Dry Yeast. I buy mine in bulk at Costco and keep it in the freezer to prolong it’s shelf life. Hope that helps. You’ll love these cinnamon rolls. They’re amazing! Come back soon.

Hi Barbara!
Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. I use active dry yeast in this recipe. I should have specified that detail in the recipe. Your family is going to go “nuts” for these cinnamon rolls! I love it because I can make them for my daughter-in-law who has a severe dairy allergy as Duncan Hines cake mixes have no dairy in most of their mixes!
