I used pretty much what was on hand making it today. I had no cheddar, so used mozzarella & a touch of instant rice…… Didn’t have the right amt of bread crumbs so used some fried onions. Talk about delicious…it was fantastic!!!

Yes! I’ve done it many times and it works beautifully! Just freeze it before baking and then thaw and bake! It’s a great casserole for making “extra” for a later date! Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope this helps and that you have a great week.

Norine…..if I made this in two smaller dishes, would it be possible to freeze one before baking for a later time or bake it first before freezing, then thaw and re-bake. Thank you.

Sometimes mistakes make the BEST recipes! I bet it is wonderful with the Normandy vegetables. I’m going to have to try it! Thanks so much for sharing and I hope your husband gives it two thumbs up too!

Accidentally heated up Normandy vegetables in microwave not brocoli so I used them instead. Looks yummy and do far reviews are good from the family! Husband works a different shift so he hasn’t tried it yet.
