I LOVE that you put your own twist on this casserole. I’m a huge cheerleader of my readers changing things to fit their own tastes and being creative in the kitchen. Hi can you use flour tortillas? Which will taste better I remember my aunt making something like this when I was a kid and it was soooo yummy but I think she used flour tortillas but it’s vern so long I don’t really remember

I have not tried that yet. I get so busy in the kitchen creating new recipes that I forget the other things I want to do. I think it would be amazing. This is one of my favorite casseroles…and I’m craving it now. lol I would just substitute it for one of the can of cream of chicken soups. Hope that helps and if you try it…please let me know. Hope you love this recipe as much as I do.

I just found this meal on Pinterest. It looks amazing! I saw in the comments above that you were going to try a can of Fiesta Cheese soup. How did that work out? Did you just substitute it for one of the Cream of Chickens or add a third can of soup?

You can make this ahead of time and freeze it. You do not need to partially cook it. It will cook up beautifully. That’s so nice that you take a meal to your local Mission once a month. We make a meal to take to our local Mission once a month. Came upon this recipe and it will work wonderfully!! My queation is– Do you think I can make this a week ahead of time and put in freezer? If so, would I partially bake it first?? Or should I just make it the night before and refrigerate. Thanks so much for the recipe and for your help!!
