You seriously just made my entire week! Thank you for your loyalty! Honestly for this recipe the Betty Crocker cake mix can be substituted for the Duncan Hines and follow the rest of the recipe as it is written. It should be fine. I hope this helps. Yes you can. You can also just omit them. This is a very forgiving cake recipe. Hope this helps.

I’ve made dozens of rhubarb pies over the years and just about every single one bubbled over. I recently moved into a condo and was pretty concerned about setting off my “pie timer” a.k.a. smoke detector. The technique for this recipe is genius and the pie turned out beautifully. I tried to give the recipe five stars and the page would only allow me to give four.

Hi! I’m from Puerto Rico and I love your recipes, specially this one. But, lately here in P.R. is almost impossible to find the Duncan Hines Perfectly Moist French Vanilla Cake. I got the Betty Crocker one. Could you tell me what changes I can make to improve the recipe with this brand of Betty Crocker? Thank you.
