I have been looking for a recipe that was similar or exactly as my mom made this in a cast iron skillet. She would drink the rest of the buttermilk. Now I do the same thing that I found this. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Carol!
No it isn’t! The recipe card that I use automatically calculates the recipe based on ingredients and serving size. However, for some recipes it is difficult for the “serving size” to be pinned down and so it calculates on the total ingredient list. Example it may have calculated for the entire amount of oil used to cook the steak…but all that oil is not part of the serving size. It did the same thing for my Turkey recipe that I baste with a pound of butter. Nobody would make that Turkey with that calorie count unless they were planning on death by Turkey! Total calories for this recipe should be around 650-700 calories. I’ll go back in and make the adjustment. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
