Hi Philomena!
Sorry I’m late responding. I was watching grandkids last week. Wish I was at the “beach house”. It will stay crispy unless you warm it up in the microwave, then it will get soft. I would reheat in an air fryer if available or keep warm in the a low temperature oven.

It was so good! I found this recipe in an attempt to recreate it for my children on Christmas morning, and it did not disappoint. It was just as good. The room went silent when everyone started to eat the French toast, and soon my kids were saying it was the best breakfast they ever had. I did top it with crispy bacon and a scoop of vanilla ice cream, just like Koko Crater Cafe. Thank you for sharing this delicious recipe.
