Hi Christy!
I’m so happy to hear that you love this recipe. I’m so sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner. The only difference, which you may have found out, is that the brown sugar has molasses in it, which could actually make the topping have a slightly “caramel” flavor. Which has me thinking that I want to try it. Lol. Hope it turned out okay and you were the hit of the party!
Thanks for being part of my Nest! Have a great week!

Hi Noreen, I’ve made this dessert many times and it has hit! I committed to bringing this for a potluck for our Spanish ministry. I just realized that I only have a quarter cup of regular sugar, but I have lots of brown sugar. How will it impact the recipe by adding a half a cup of brown sugar with a quarter cup of sugar thank you so much have a blessed day.

Hi Angela!
Yes I do. Sorry for the delayed response. I took a little time off during the Holidays. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and that you have a very happy New Year.
