Absolutely loved the commentary to go with the recipe. My dad has been making these donuts for years and never shared his recipe. I told him I found a canned biscuit donut recipe and he laughed at me and said “Shawna I used to make those for you when you were little” so I am glad to now know what he did and how easy it is to make them! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe!!

Just made these as a quick easy breakfast. I used the Grand’s non-flakey biscuits and fried in avocado oil that I have on hand. I sort of flattened the second batch to get better coverage in the oil and I think they turned out better. Will repeat that step next time since I will definitely be making them again! Also, I only fried up half as donuts and baked the rest to eat as biscuits later since it’s only two of us enjoying the donuts today. Thanks for sharing this delicious and easy recipe, it’s definitely a fun recipe to make with guests!

these are so easy..My first i burned cause the heat was too high so turned it down and they came out beautifully…My husband says they are addicting so now calling my daughter to come try them..Thank you for this very easy recipe..hope I get company soon so I can do these…
