Hi Lynne!
I’m so excited that you are using your pressure cooker! Hooray! Isn’t it wonderful? I love mine and believe me I was totally resistant to using one for a year or longer. Now I use it 2-3 times a week. Such a great kitchen tool! Wish I had had one when the kids were all at home and I’d forget to take something out of the freezer! Would have been so great! I’m glad you liked this recipe minus the fungus! (That made me laugh out loud!) Have a great week and I hope you’ll come back soon. Keep cooking with that pressure cooker!
Happy Nesting!

I bought a 6 qt pressure cooker (albeit a QVC Cooks Essentials lol) prbly 8 yrs ago. Had never even been around one before. Made a pot roast (and clearly did it wrong). It was so tough. Tried pea soup….Not so good. So, to my closet it went. A couple wks ago, I decided to put on my big girl britches, (now at a whopping 60 yrs old), dusted the lil’ sucker off, and made a ‘Meal Plan Monday’ recipe for the IP. Whoa. SO good. Tonight I tried this recipe (doubling it & eliminating the fungus). Holy cow, this is a winner!! Thank you, Norine! This defines comfort food. Yum!

(Oh yeah – I find that I did totally misunderstood the directions, back in the day of far less wrinkles).
