Hi Angel!
I do not think you are a pork chop snob at all! I think we all have different likes and taste preferences. I'm sorry this recipe didn't turn out well for you. I also happen to agree about a pork chop cooked in a cast iron skillet! You can never go wrong. Thank you for stopping by and sharing. I appreciate all feedback about my recipes.

I followed this recipe exactly and it did not turn out. The pork chops were not tender and the breading was mush. They were swimming in a pool of butter. I just may be a pork chop snob, they are best cooked in a cast iron skillet, low and slow in butter.

Hi Eric!
I'm so sorry these turned out soggy! One recommendation that I have is to place them on an open rack on top of a baking sheet so that air can get under them as well as on top of them. I've found that this works beautifully. I also recommend flipping on them rack half way through baking.

Hi Donna!

Great Question! I usually buy pork chops about a 1/2 inch thick! I wouldn't do ones any thinner, they tend to dry out! Enjoy this recipe!
Happy Nesting...come back soon!
