Adding a tsp of lime juice helps reduce oxidation (browning) as well and also adds a bit of tang. FYI! Good recipe for baked flautas!

Hi Carrie!
Yes I have heard of leaving the pit in the guacamole. I’ve even done it. However, I have found pressing the plastic down and making sure no air can get to it actually works better. You’ll still get a tiny bit of brown…but nothing like if you don’t. To be extra sure you could leave the pit in and do the plastic trick. 😉

This looks heavenly! Although, I originally clicked to see your guacamole recipe. Have you ever tried leaving the pit in? I’ve heard it helps with browning. Might be useful if making ahead.
