Love your suggestion. The only thing I would add is to be extra careful when toasting macadamia nuts because they burn easily. I also love when bakers make adjustments to my recipes to suit their tastes. Thanks for stopping by and sharing with us. Have a wonderful Holiday Season.

I just made these, they are ok. I would highly recommend toasting the macadamia nuts if you’re using them. I didn’t for mine because I followed the recipe. I will be toasting next time! I’ll also be making a few adjustments to the recipe, they also needed to cook longer for me.
