After thinking about “the Easter jello:” we did do bananas.and walnuts. I don’t think we did cream cheese but that sure does sound good.

This has been my mom’s staple at every family gathering for as long as I can remember and I have now taken over the duty. I have it memorized but I have always wondered if it was a “real” recipe as my mom just “learned it from some lady at a potluck.” Im talking like 35+years ago. We’ve tweaked it over the years a touch, like doing a sour cream/ cream cheese mixture and we double it cause its delicious lol. My mom always did slices banana vs mashed up, so I could pick them out. I have since omitted the banana entirely. This is literally one of my all time favorite additions to any function!!!
Side note-it won’t let me select the 5th star but this is definitely 5star
