This seafood boil was originally written for two people, if you want to feed 3-4 people you need to double the amount of crab…or if you’re feeding my family you better quadruple that…or sit by the dock and wait for the ship to come in loaded down with crab.

It really depends on the size of the lobster…but you’ll add them so that you have one minute per ounce of lobster tail. You’ll want them to be translucent and pink and then they are done. I’d add the them before the crab and shrimp. Always add the shrimp last as they cook really quickly!

If I lived closer to the ocean they’d always be fresh! However, I’m too far from the beautiful coasts of this country so I buy them frozen and thaw them. Add them at the very end as they really only need to be warmed up. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. I like your idea…think I might do this next year myself.
