Hi Lynn!

I’m not sure why your meat was tough? Mine was fall apart tender. It may have been the cut of beef used for the beef cubes? Mine was chuck roast from Costco cut into stew beef. I love the addition of chopped broccoli. Sorry about the meat being tough. Thanks for sharing. Hope you have a good week and come back to visit soon.

Made it tonight, used a pound of beef cubes. Meat was tough. Noodles were good, added frozen chopped broccoli.

Hi Heather!
I use the stew beef from Costco which is a chuck roast cut into cubes. The cubes are about 2 inches in diameter. Hope that helps. Happy Cooking…you’ll love this dish. 😉

Thank you for your sweet comments and for visiting with me! I love to hear from my Nesting friends. Our middle son lived in Edmonton for a few years and loved it up there. It did say it was pretty darn cold though! Hope the peeps at your Nest love this recipe as much as mine did. It’s a great warm, comforting dish.
