Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad Recipe

This easy and delicious Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad combines seasoned grilled chicken, crispy bacon, cheddar cheese and a creamy ranch dressing for a perfect crowd-pleaser that's ready in minutes!

Ingredients
  

  • 16 ounce chicken breast, or tenders grilled, rotisserie, or baked.
  • 16 ounce thick cut bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 12 ounce rotini pasta cooked and drained
  • 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese freshly grated
  • ¼ cup green onion thinly sliced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp ranch dressing mix
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for chicken
  • 2 tbsp All-purpose seasoning or your favorite grilling seasoning.

Instructions
 

  • Pat chicken breast or tenders dry with a paper towel. Drizzle with olive oil and coat with all-purpose seasoning or your favorite grilling seasoning blend. Grill chicken over medium heat until juices run clear. Remove from grill and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • Slice the thick bacon into small chunks. In a medium skillet, cook over medium heat until it's golden and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb any excess grease.
  • Boil your rotini according to the package directions until al dente. Once the tender pasta is ready, drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking and keep it from sticking.
  • In a medium bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, chicken broth, and ranch seasoning.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, grilled chicken, crispy bacon, cheddar cheese, green onions, and ranch dressing. Toss everything together until well-coated. Cover and chill until ready to serve. If needed, add extra ranch dressing before serving.
