Ingredients

  • 8 Large Day Old Cooked Biscuits
  • 4 large eggs
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract (Optional)
  • ¾ cup milk

Instructions

  • Cut the biscuits in half. In a shallow dish, combine eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, almond extract and cinnamon. Whisk until completely combined. Add milk and mix until everything is combined.
  • Melt some butter in a skillet over medium heat, or spray an electric griddle (300°) with nonstick-stick cooking spray. Dip biscuit halves into the milk mixture, allowing the biscuits to soak up some of the mixture.
  • Gently, shake off excess and place in the skillet, or on top of the hot griddle. Cook the biscuit until brown on one side, flip and brown the other side.
  • Place the biscuits on a serving plate and cover with a dry, clean cloth to keep warm until ready to serve.
  • Serve immediately with butter, syrup and berries.
