- 8 Large Day Old Cooked Biscuits
- 4 large eggs
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- ½ teaspoon almond extract (Optional)
- ¾ cup milk
Cut the biscuits in half. In a shallow dish, combine eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, almond extract and cinnamon. Whisk until completely combined. Add milk and mix until everything is combined.
Melt some butter in a skillet over medium heat, or spray an electric griddle (300°) with nonstick-stick cooking spray. Dip biscuit halves into the milk mixture, allowing the biscuits to soak up some of the mixture.
Gently, shake off excess and place in the skillet, or on top of the hot griddle. Cook the biscuit until brown on one side, flip and brown the other side.
Place the biscuits on a serving plate and cover with a dry, clean cloth to keep warm until ready to serve.
Serve immediately with butter, syrup and berries.
