Easy Ham and Noodle Casserole

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups cooked ham diced
  • 2 cups Swiss cheese shredded
  • 1 10.5 ounce condensed cream of chicken soup
  • ¼ cup whole milk
  • ½ cup onion finely chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 Tablespoons Parsley, dried optional
  • ¼ cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 Tablespoons butter melted

Instructions
 

  • Step1 — gather all ingredients. Preheat oven to 350°(F) (175 degrees C). Grease a 9 x 13 baking dish or a 2-quart casserole dish.
  • Step 2 — Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rapid boil. Cook the macaroni in the boiling water for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat, cover, and let stand until tender, about 10 minutes. Drain
  • Step 3 — Transfer the pasta back into the large pot, or a large bowl. Stir in condensed soup, onion, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix to combine. Add Ham and Swiss Cheese and Parsley (optional). Stir again until all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
  • Step 4 — Spoon pasta mixture into the prepared casserole dish. In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and melted butter. Mix until well combined. Sprinkle buttery breadcrumbs over the top of the entire casserole.
  • Step 5 — Bake in the preheated oven until the casserole is bubbling, and the breadcrumbs are browned, about 40 minutes. Let the casserole rest 5–10 minutes before serving.
