Ingredients

  • 1 pound Sirloin Steak Trimmed and cut into 1-inch bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup Pineapple Fresh, cut into bite-size pieces, about ½-inch thick.
  • 1 cup Yellow squash Cut into ½-inch bite-size pieces.
  • 1 cup Zucchini Cut into ½-inch bite-size pieces.
  • 1 cup Orange bell pepper Cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • 1 cup Fresh Mushrooms Clean and cut into quarters.
  • ½ cup White onion Cut into bite-size pieces. You can substitute a yellow onion for the white onion.
  • cups Teriyaki Sauce Your favorite variety.

Instructions

  • Place the trimmed and cut steak in a large zip-lock bag with 1 cup of teriyaki marinade and chill for one hour, or overnight. When ready to grill, drain the excess teriyaki sauce off the beef and place the beef in a bowl.
  • Preheat your grill to 400°F. Spray a non-stick grilling wok with cooking spray and place on the grill to preheat. MAKE SURE YOU USE GRILLING GLOVES when preparing this dish! DO NOT GRAB THE WOK WITH YOUR BARE HANDS!
  • Place the marinated steak in the preheated wok. Stir and cook until the meat is brown, and the edges are slightly golden brown. About 5 minutes.
  • Add all the prepared vegetables, except for the pineapple. Drizzle a little bit of teriyaki sauce over the vegetables and meat. Give everything a good stir and continue to stir frequently until the vegetables are "fork tender." About 5–7 additional minutes.
TIP: If the heat on your BBQ is too hot, reduce the flame, or turn off any direct flames under the wok and only use the side burners of your gas BBQ for indirect heat.
  • Add the fresh cut-up pineapple. Stir and cook until the pineapple begins to turn light brown around the edges. You may want to add another drizzle of teriyaki sauce. Carefully remove the wok from the grill using grilling gloves. Place the stir-fry in a bowl and serve immediately.
