It’s time for my 2nd favorite holiday of the year! Cinco de Mayo! The day we celebrate one of THE most important food groups on the food pyramid… Mexican food! Huh? You heard me! In our little nest we realize how extremely important it is to make sure we adhere to the major food groups! Okay, all joking aside, because our daughter and son are both hispanic we always celebrate the holiday by serving our favorite Mexican foods. Usually I make taquito’s, chili rellenos and fresh homemade salsa. They’re great! However, lately we have all developed a love for Carne Asada! So, I decided to come up with my own recipe. I’m just super brave like that! Or, crazy?!
This 4th of July when you stoke up the grill … kick it up a notch with these appetizing Seattle Hot Dogs. I stumbled upon this palatable delight a few years ago when I wanted to kick-up my “hot dog” game. I figured if Seattle had created a dog good enough to be named after it…then it had to be AMAZING! It is mind blowing good! A true Taste Treat!

It’s amazingly easy to prepare Marinade makes this one outstanding dish! It’s tender, juicy, and jam packed with flavor! So much flavor that you’ll skip the steak sauce! Perfect any time you want a really great BBQ main dish!
I’ve got the perfect burger for your Memorial Day Weekend, or for that matter…any outdoor summer BBQ you’ve got planned! What’s better than a bacon cheeseburger? An “Inside Out” Bacon Cheeseburger! That’s right…let’s take delicious lean ground beef and stuff it with cheddar cheese and bits of crispy bacon? Then let’s load that beauty with all our favorite toppings…ripe tomatoes, green leave lettuce, red onion, pickles, and creamy avocado. I think it’s the perfect way to say “Hi Summer! Let’s get this party started!” It’s totally “Smoosh” worthy! (If you don’t know what “Smoosh” worthy is…they hot dog table is over there…lol!)
