A Great breakfast idea loaded with crispy potatoes, veggies, steak, ham, and sausage. Add cheese, farm fresh scrambled eggs, seasonings, and sliced avocado! It’s a hearty delicious country breakfast that is a great way to use up leftovers!
Christmas morning is always a little “cray-cray” around this Nest! Even with all the crazy going on I wan the “birds” at this Nest to have plenty of steam to open up their gifts. So several years ago… I came up with this hearty, tasty, and easy Breakfast Casserole. It’s loaded with flavor, and protein, to keep them going throughout the morning…well that a little hot chocolate or spiced cider ought to do the trick!
Any breakfast lovers out there? They say it’s the most important meal of the day…”They” haven’t met dessert! However, this stuffed Breakfast Calzone may prove them right! Refrigerator pizza dough is stuffed full of everyone’s breakfast favorites. Best part? Totally customizable. If you don’t like my favorites…no problem…change it out for yours. I’m even sharing how you can make this ahead of time and serve it during the work week. So come join me for breakfast! (Don’t worry…there’s a cake on the counter too! lol)
I love coffee cakes with that cinnamon sugar crumb topping! So, it would only make sense that I would LOVE a baked donut with that same yummy mouth watering crumb topping. I can’t claim this recipe as my own… because it isn’t. This one belongs to Ashley at Baker By Nature. I did do a little “tweaking” by adding chopped almonds to the crumb mixture and a splash of buttermilk to the dough for a little extra moisture. Who needs a donut shop when you can have these ready in a matter of minutes!
I love everything about this time of year! You know… When you can feel the tickle of spring right around the corner. We’ve had two days of glorious warmer weather and sunshine. The markets are starting to fill with fresh berries of every kind! Another shout out to spring! So to celebrate this impending season of sunshine, and all those berries… I’m sharing my recipe for Old Fashioned Blueberry Muffins! They are the perfect prelude to tulips, pastels, bunnies, colored eggs, and SUNSHINE!!! Not to mention…they’re just downright delicious!
I love cinnamon sugar donuts! Unfortunately I am always craving them on a Saturday morning when the last thing I want to do is get showered and dressed and run the 15 miles into town to grab one! So I always keep a handy dandy can of Pillsbury Grand Biscuits around so when the craving hits, and trust me…it will, I am ready to make these easy quick and delicious donuts!
Pumpkin Streusel Muffins are the perfect Fall breakfast treat! I think Linus should have waited up for these and not “The Great Pumpkin!”. This pumpkin muffin is so moist and packed full of wonderful Fall spices… like cinnamon, all spice, nutmeg and clove. It’s topped off with an amazing cinnamon brown sugar streusel that is finger licking good! Then drizzled with a vanilla icing! It all comes together to make the most amazing Pumpkin Muffin you will ever eat!
It could be my English blood, but I love muffins, biscuits, and scones! I’m a huge fan of baking powder and baking soda breads! They are so easy to make when you are in a hurry and looking for something yummy! When done right they are light, flaky, and a carb lovers dream come true! Last week I was looking for something to smother with my freshly made peach jam. These Peaches and Cream scones filled the bill! I think you’ll love them as much as we did!
