I love all the wonderful fresh fruits and veggies this time of year has to offer. To celebrate I created this delectable Lemon Berry Angel Food Cake! Layer upon layer of sweet light angel food cake is topped with lemon pudding, lemon cream, and LOADS of fresh berries! Every kind I could get my hands on. It makes for one show stopping dessert that would look amazing on your Easter Dinner Table.
Keebler E.L. Fudge Striped Lemon Cream Pie Cookies are turned into beautiful Easter Bonnet Treats! This is such a fun “food craft” to do with your daughters or friends. I think they would be darling for a mother-daughter tea or a grand daughters princess party! The big bonus? They are super YUMMY! I mean a Lindor truffle on top? Come On!
I’m busy planning my Easter menu! I am a true believe that side dishes are as equally as important, if not more so, than the main dish. I live by the motto that the side dishes can be a “meal breaker”. (No pressure right?) Never fear! I’ve got lots of wonderful side dishes headed your way and I’m starting out with this really easy and super delicious Broccoli Puff. I have to admit I have a new food obsession! It’s all the beautiful cheese platters, or cheese boards, out there right now! I love the depth of color and variety they offer. They are perfect year round and allow you to be creatively expressive. They offer something for everyone.! Especially for this cheese and cracker lover. Happy NYE Eve! I’m down with a cold, but that isn’t going to stop me from sharing my favorite hot dip recipe with you. You have to have it for your big New Years Eve parties! Hot Spinach and Artichoke dip is a classic. It’s not exactly new on the party scene. However, I’ve stepped it up a notch by serving it on a buttery garlic toasted Crostini! The combination of the two is OUT OF THIS WORLD! In a word… Amazing! I don’t think I’ll ever eat it again with corn chips. Your guest will absolutely love this dip/crostini combination. Come take a peek at how simple this is to make. Best part…you can make it ahead of time! One less thing on the “to-do” list! 😉
There are two things that go together…I think it’s almost illegal if you don’t have both. What am I talking about…Football and Wings! Is it even possible to watch a Super Bowl without having a big ol’ plate of sticky, hot and sweet, lip smacking wings? I’m pretty sure it’s a Technical…flags down all over the place, if you even try to watch a game without at least a wing in each fist! Right?
