I have a love-hate relationship with BBQ. Which is why I created this delicious slow cooker pulled pork sandwich. It’s my “go-to” recipe for large Family Parties or Summer BBQ’s. The classic coleslaw on top of the pulled pork, combined with the BBQ sauce, makes for one AMAZING juicy lip smacking sandwich! You’re gonna love it…and so will the relatives! Hope ya don’t mind them hanging around…lol

I admit it! I’ve always been a Boxed Brownie snob. I was convinced that there was no way a boxed brownie mix could ever be better than my homemade brownies. It just wasn’t possible. Then one day…Ol’ Betty and I had a little get together. What happened next was nothing short of AMAZING!
I can actually remember when these Cheesy “Funeral” Potatoes showed up on the scene! (YES! I’m THAT old!) Back then we didn’t call them “Funeral Potatoes”. I’m O.K. with that! We nicely called this recipe “Cheesy Potato Casserole” and left the event of “death” out of it! I mean, I do realize they are “To Die For”, and they are now a standard staple at every funeral across the country…but I really hate their acquired “nick name”. I mean if they are stuck with the nick-name of “funeral” potatoes…allow me to introduce you to “funeral ham”, “funeral” Parker house rolls, “funeral” bagged salad mix with Great value “funeral” ranch dressing… and let’s not forget about “funeral” Texas sheet cake! Okay, okay…I’ll put away my sarcasm for the day…but first, could you pass me the “funeral” margarine….
Fact…I cook better than I craft! That isn’t to say that I can’t craft “well”…I just have a little “crafting” problem. My biggest problem…I have no patience. Waiting for paint to dry nearly kills me! SERIOUSLY!!! That’s why I LOVE this new craft I found from “It’s Always Autumn”! These beautiful Easter Eggs took less than 30 minutes from start to finish! That’s my kind of craft. You’re gonna love it too…it’s so fun and mess free, that even the “little chicks” can do this one.
I love all the wonderful fresh fruits and veggies this time of year has to offer. To celebrate I created this delectable Lemon Berry Angel Food Cake! Layer upon layer of sweet light angel food cake is topped with lemon pudding, lemon cream, and LOADS of fresh berries! Every kind I could get my hands on. It makes for one show stopping dessert that would look amazing on your Easter Dinner Table.
I’m sharing our very favorite pasta salad today! The birds at this Nest L.O.V.E. this tortellini olive salad…especially the “Big Bird”! It’s his all time favorite salad… EVER! Every time I take him to the market he will ask me if I’m buying the ingredients to make it. I can never say “No!”. It’s just too easy to make… and, Okay FINE! It’s my favorite too! (Let’s not tell him…it would make me seem so selfish! lol) We never tire of this recipe. Careful…you may get hooked too!
For years I banned meatloaf from my family dinner table. I just wasn’t a huge fan…and for good reason! Then I stumbled upon this recipe, and ever since…the ban has been lifted! It’s a family favorite and makes regular guest appearances whenever summoned by one of its adoring admirers. Let’s here it for this amazing Brown Sugar Meatloaf! Trust me…you’re gonna be a fan too!
Keebler E.L. Fudge Striped Lemon Cream Pie Cookies are turned into beautiful Easter Bonnet Treats! This is such a fun “food craft” to do with your daughters or friends. I think they would be darling for a mother-daughter tea or a grand daughters princess party! The big bonus? They are super YUMMY! I mean a Lindor truffle on top? Come On!
Psssst! Rumor has it y’all want the recipe for this S’mores Cookie Pie! I can’t say I blame ya. It’s so good your lips are gonna smack together so hard…you’re gonna kiss yourself! lol This is one AMAZING ooey-gooey lusciously decadent dessert! Worth every single calorie…Yep, every single one!
I’m sharing my Grandma’s Ham, Pea, and Potato casserole today! It’s creamy, easy, delicious and 100% pure comfort food! It’s the perfect way to use up that leftover Holiday Ham too! Trust me when I say…you WANT leftover ham just so you can make this casserole! If ya want you can just call it “leftover ham” casserole. Grandma wouldn’t mind and neither do I!
